“Your practice will become an engaging game, leading to a stronger focus and a faster, more noticeable improvement.”

How it Works: roll the dice

  • The Golf Dice features six sides, with each representing a specific task intended to refine particular elements of your game, shot execution, and feel.
  • Simply roll the Golf Dice to determine your next practice challenge. Complete the specific task dictated by the dice roll.
  • A block practice set concludes once you’ve successfully completed all dice challenges.
  • Explore tailored practice routines for: Putting – Short Game – Long Game each guided by the roll of the Golf Dice.
  • The more you play and train with the Golf Dice the more habit forming your practice routine will become.
  •  Develop your practice stamina and train yourself to focus and concentrate in a relaxed state of mind for longer periods of time

Gimies Putting Edition

Revolutionize your putting practice with dynamic, focused, and fun challenges designed to build unshakeable confidence on the greens.

How to Play

Using your Gimies cube is simple, so you can spend less time setting up and more time improving your stroke.

1

Roll Your Gimies Cube

Start by giving your cube a roll. Each unique face will present you with a new, exciting putting challenge.

2

Hit Your Putts

For the challenge revealed, you’ll hit 4 putts. Your goal is simple: hole as many of them as you can!

3

Complete All Challenges

To get comprehensive practice, aim to complete all 6 challenges. Work through each one to finish your session.

Quick Tip: Need to measure 1 foot on the green without a tape measure? One foot is approximately the length of one of your footprints. This is handy for setting up closer putt challenges.

The Challenges

Master Every Putt

Each roll offers a distinct putting scenario, designed to sharpen a different aspect of your skills and simulate real on-course pressure.

4ft

Master Short Saves!

This challenge is all about building confidence in those crucial short putts that can make or break your score. Focus on a smooth, confident stroke to consistently find the bottom of the cup.

8ft

Sink Pressure Putts!

Often considered the most challenging distance for amateurs, mastering 8-footers will transform your game. Practice staying calm, committing to your line, and trusting your stroke when it matters most.

12ft

Dial-In Birdie Chances!

These are the putts that convert good approaches into valuable birdies. Work on your aim and pace to give yourself every opportunity to capitalize on your scoring chances.

20ft

Challenge Distance Control!

Longer putts are less about holing out and more about leaving yourself a tap-in. Focus on judging the speed and break precisely to get the ball close, minimizing dreaded three-putts.

Compass Drill

This drill forces you to read putts from various angles. Putt from 4 feet North, South, East, and West of the hole. Notice how the break changes from different directions, simulating realistic course conditions.

Ladder Drill

A brilliant drill for consistency under pressure. Hole out in sequence from 4, 8, 12, and 20 feet. The twist? If you miss any putt, you must go back to the start! This truly trains your focus and mental toughness.

Gimies Short Game Edition

Tired of aimless short game practice? The Gimies Short Game Edition transforms your sessions into focused, fun, and highly effective training for your chipping, pitching, and flop shots. Get ready to develop the touch and control that saves strokes on the course!

How to Play

Using your Gimies cube is simple, helping you quickly set up dynamic practice scenarios:

  1. Set Up Your Targets: Begin by placing 3-4 distinct targets across your practice area. Vary their distances, stretching them out up to 50 yards (or paces), to simulate diverse on-course situations. Cones, flags, or even old towels work perfectly as targets.
  2. Roll Your Gimies Cube: Once your targets are set, roll your Gimies cube. Each face will dictate a specific short game challenge: either a Low Chip, Mid Pitch, or High Flop. This introduces variety and keeps every practice session fresh.
  3. Execute Your Shots: For the challenge revealed, hit 4 shots. Focus on successfully executing the required shot type towards your targets, making sure to alternate your aim with each shot. This simulates real-game scenarios where you’re not always hitting to the same spot.
  4. Complete All Challenges: Your practice session is complete when you’ve successfully practiced all three fundamental short game challenges (Low Chip, Mid Pitch, and High Flop) presented by the Gimies cube. This ensures you’re developing a well-rounded short game.

The Challenges: Your Pathway to Short Game Mastery

Each roll focuses on a critical shot, helping you refine your technique and develop essential feel around the greens:

  • Low Chip (8 or 9 Iron):
    • The Shot: This is a controlled, low-flying chip designed to land on the green quickly and run out towards the hole. It’s perfect for getting the ball rolling with minimal airtime.
    • Key Tip: Adopt a light grip for a sensitive touch, allowing the club to glide through the turf.
  • Mid Pitch (Pitching Wedge or Gap Wedge):
    • The Shot: Your standard go-to pitch shot. It has a balanced flight and reliable stop, making it versatile for many short game situations where you need some airtime but still want control.
    • Key Tip: Maintain a very light grip pressure for ultimate feel and control over the clubface.
  • High Flop (Lofted Wedge):
    • The Shot: A high-arching shot designed to land softly with minimal roll. This is essential for carrying hazards (like bunkers or water) or navigating tricky lies where you need to get the ball up quickly.
    • Key Tip: Use a light grip to help keep the clubface open and maximize the loft, allowing the ball to climb quickly.

By integrating Gimies into your short game practice, you’ll naturally develop crucial feel and control. This guided, varied approach also helps to make your practice truly fun and effective!

Gimies Long Game Edition

Ready to take full control of your ball flight and elevate your course management? The Gimies Long Game Edition is the perfect tool for experienced golfers looking to master shot shaping and trajectory control. Transform your practice sessions from repetitive drills into targeted, skill-building challenges.

How to Play

Using your Gimies cube for long game practice is straightforward, allowing you to focus on execution and improvement:

  1. Choose Your Iron: To begin, select your preferred mid or long iron (for example, a 6-iron or a 4-iron). These clubs are ideal for practicing various ball flights and swing lengths.
  2. Roll Your Gimies Cube: Give your Gimies cube a roll. Each face will present you with a new, dynamic Long Game challenge. This ensures variety and keeps your mind engaged throughout your practice.
  3. Execute Your Shots: For each challenge the cube reveals, you’ll hit four shots. Your primary focus here is to successfully execute the required shot shape or trajectory towards your chosen target. Concentrate on committing to the shot and visualizing the ball flight.
  4. Complete All Challenges: To truly achieve “shotmaking mastery” and get the most comprehensive practice, strive to successfully complete all six challenges presented by the Gimies cube. Work through every outcome on the die to develop a well-rounded long game.

The Challenges: Your Path to Shotmaking Mastery

The Gimies cube will challenge you to control your ball flight in distinct ways. Commit to each shot and visualize it flying precisely towards your target!

  • Draw:
    • The Shot: Practice hitting a shot that curves gently from right-to-left for right-handed golfers. This shot is great for navigating doglegs or adding extra distance.
    • (Left-handed golfers: Practice a gentle Fade, curving left-to-right).
  • Fade:
    • The Shot: Focus on hitting a shot that curves gently from left-to-right for right-handed golfers. A fade can help you avoid trouble on certain holes or hold greens more effectively.
    • (Left-handed golfers: Practice a gentle Draw, curving right-to-left).
  • High:
    • The Shot: Concentrate on hitting a shot with a significantly higher trajectory than your standard ball flight for that specific club. This is useful for carrying hazards or landing the ball softly on the green.
  • Low:
    • The Shot: Aim for a lower, more penetrating trajectory. This shot is designed to stay under the wind, maximize roll-out, or escape from under tree branches.
  • 3/4 Swing:
    • The Shot: Practice hitting shots using a controlled, three-quarter backswing and follow-through. The emphasis here is on accuracy and consistent distance control, not maximum power. It’s a key shot for precision play.
  • 1/2 Swing:
    • The Shot: Work on hitting shots using an even shorter, half-swing. This is ideal for highly controlled lay-ups, punching out from trouble, or playing precise approach shots where full power isn’t needed.

By integrating the Gimies Long Game Edition into your routine, you’ll actively enhance your shot control by mastering various ball flights. You’ll also improve your feel and rhythm by practicing with different swing lengths, keeping your practice engaging and directly applicable to your on-course performance!

Gimies Multi-Game Edition: Quick Start Guide

Ready to inject some excitement and purpose into your golf practice? The Gimies Multi-Game Edition transforms routine drills into dynamic challenges, helping you develop crucial skills while keeping things fun and engaging.

How to Play

Playing with your Gimies cube is straightforward and designed for instant enjoyment:

  1. Roll Your Gimies Cube: Start by rolling your Gimies cube. Each face will present you with a unique and exciting game challenge.
  2. Understand the Objective: Once a game is revealed, familiarize yourself with its specific goal. Your aim is to successfully complete that game’s objective to fulfill the “roll requirement.”
  3. Practice All 6 Challenges: To get the most out of your session and develop a well-rounded skill set, strive to complete all six unique challenges on the cube. This ensures you cover various aspects of your short game and putting.
    • Quick Tip: For easy measurement on the green, remember that 1 foot is approximately equal to one of your footprints. This can help you quickly set up distances without needing a tape measure.

The Games: Your Path to Skill Mastery

Here’s a breakdown of each dynamic game, designed to sharpen your focus and enhance your feel around the greens:

  • Scatter Ball: This game tests your precision under pressure.
    • Objective: Try to hole one of four randomly scattered balls. Keep repeating the set of four balls until you successfully sink one.
    • Flexibility: You have the option to chip from the green’s perimeter instead of putting, adding another layer of challenge.
  • Pocket Money: A fun, competitive game to improve your short-range scoring.
    • Objective: Chip or putt four balls from 12-20 feet. You start with a virtual £1.
    • Scoring:
      • Holed Putt: Double your virtual money (add £1 to your total).
      • Within 1 foot: Add 10p to your total.
      • Outside 1 foot: Deduct 10p from your total.
  • Leap Frog: Focuses purely on refining your distance control.
    • Objective: With four balls placed 12-20 feet away, putt or chip each ball sequentially. Your goal is for each ball to land just past the previous one, beyond a designated marker.
    • Flexibility: Similar to Scatter Ball, you can opt to chip from the green’s perimeter for a varied challenge.
  • Ladder: This drill builds confidence and consistency under pressure.
    • Objective: Hole out in sequence from increasing distances: starting at 4 feet, then 8 feet, 12 feet, and finally 20 feet.
    • Rule: If you miss any putt in the sequence, you must go back to the start (the 4-foot putt) and begin again! This simulates real course pressure.
  • Triple Chips: Develops your feel for different lofted clubs around the green.
    • Objective: Chip three balls from off the green to the same hole, using three different lofts (e.g., your 8-iron, pitching wedge, and lob wedge). You must hole out each ball before moving on to strike the next in your sequence.
  • Par 18: Simulates a mini golf course to test your all-around short game.
    • Objective: Play nine random “mini-holes,” each considered a Par 2. Use one ball and your chosen wedge or putter.
    • Scoring:
      • Chip & Putt: This is considered Par (2 strokes).
      • Chip In: This is a Birdie (1 under Par, meaning 1 stroke).
    • Tracking: Keep track of your total strokes for the nine holes and see if you can beat your previous score!
